DeSora

DeSora in Chicago, designed by Siren Betty Design, is a vibrant event space above the beloved restaurant Tortello. Bold prints, curated art, and adaptable layouts bring energy and elegance to the interiors, while a glass wall overlooking Tortello’s pasta kitchen connects guests to the craft of Italian cuisine.

After creating Tortello in 2019, the design team returned in 2024 to bring its upstairs companion, DeSora, to life. Conceived as both distinctive and versatile, the space blends bespoke artwork, layered lighting, and richly patterned textiles, seamlessly shifting from intimate dinners to lively gatherings. Flexible furnishings and thoughtful spatial planning make it ideal for private events of every kind. A palette of warm tones and tactile finishes adds depth and character, while the steel-and-glass wall framing Tortello’s pasta-making operation creates a theatrical focal point. What emerges is a venue that celebrates craftsmanship, community, and the joy of gathering, hallmarks of Siren Betty Design’s approach to hospitality interiors.
