Tortello

Tortello in Chicago blends traditional Italian warmth with modern simplicity. Brought to life by Siren Betty Design, the space celebrates craftsmanship and openness, combining terrazzo quartz, brass accents, and tiled details with clean white walls and iconic Italian hues for an atmosphere that feels as fresh and inviting as its handmade pasta.

The goal was to merge authenticity, comfort, and versatility in one cohesive environment. Serving as a restaurant, market, and gathering place, Tortello reflects Italy’s culture of connection and craft. Solid woods, terrazzo-style quartz, and brass add texture and integrity, while familiar Italian colors and clean white walls bring brightness and balance. Checkerboard flooring nods to timeless European cafés, and the open layout allows guests to witness the artistry of handmade pasta in motion. Every design choice reinforces the brand’s devotion to quality and sincerity, capturing the spirit of Italian hospitality through Siren Betty Design’s signature approach to depth and warmth.
