Slightly Toasted

Slightly Toasted is a Chicago café by day and whiskey bar by night, transformed by Siren Betty Design into a warm, polished retreat. Exposed ceilings, whiskey barrel staves, marble bars, velvet curtains, and leather barstools blend industrial character with approachable luxury, creating a truly intimate, refined yet comfortable neighborhood destination.

By daylight, Slightly Toasted hums with the calm energy of a neighborhood café, sunlight catching on marble tabletops and gliding across crushed velvet banquettes. After dark, the room shifts in mood, anchored by a glowing whiskey bar and a ceiling detailed with reclaimed barrel staves and exposed mechanics. Linear fixtures define the newly opened space, highlighting sculptural mid-century inspired lounge seating and the rhythmic line of leather barstools. Soft drapery and plush textures temper the industrial shell, inviting guests to linger over one more drink. Hints of Chicago character keep the elegant feeling authentically local. Every finish negotiates between masculine and feminine, polished and relaxed, revealing a space that feels considered yet effortless—a quietly dramatic study in contrast envisioned by Siren Betty Design.
