El Che

El Che is a live-fire Argentine steakhouse in Chicago’s West Loop, with restaurant interior design by Siren Betty Design. The space is dark, warm, and intimate, reflecting the energy of open-flame cooking.

Charcoal brick, blackened wood, leather banquettes, and sculptural lighting give the dining room its moody character. Oversized mountain artwork adds scale, while textured plaster and custom millwork bring warmth to the restrained palette.

The design feels dramatic without becoming formal. It balances the edge of a contemporary steakhouse with the comfort of a neighborhood restaurant. Every detail supports the experience of gathering around steak, wine, and fire.
