Monty’s in Chicago by Siren Betty Design blends mid-century charm with contemporary sophistication. Inspired by vintage roadside motels, the space combines modular design, custom shelving, and bold textiles with brass details and warm hues, creating a nostalgic yet modern atmosphere that celebrates comfort, craftsmanship, and the art of social connection.

Monty’s is a 2,200-square-foot lounge designed to merge the spirit of mid-century Americana with modern luxury. Drawing inspiration from classic Googie-style motels, the interior balances playful nostalgia with refined design. Custom shelving and acoustical paneling set the stage for art, books, and objects that tell a story, while plush orange seating and brass accents add warmth and sophistication. Locally sourced vintage furnishings mix with contemporary pieces to create an environment that feels both familiar and fresh. Every detail, from the textured wall treatments to the curated décor, evokes the intimacy of a well-loved neighborhood spot. Monty’s is a celebration of community and design, brought to life through Siren Betty Design’s signature blend of comfort, authenticity, and timeless style.
