Monnie Burke’s is a modern-day gastropub that reflect the vibrant yet settle rumble of the Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood. The Siren Betty team implemented various design esthetics to play up contemporary characteristics within the classic pub ambience. Monnie Burke’s features a customized green wainscot paneling along the west side of the wall creating a lively median between the orange tweed fabric booths below and black and white patterned wallpaper above. To contrast the masculine dark wood floor and tall brown upholstered bar stools the team added a turquoise brick back bar for a pop of color and modern touch. The space also features various hand picked vintage pieces artwork found throughout the city and state.
