In order to convey the 60s Rock ‘n Roll vibe of this restaurant-turned exclusive private event space, we used classic mid-century patterned blocking to line the back wall and give a textured background to the glamorous bar. The use of mirrors on the ceiling and back bar give a sense of luxury and playfulness that is reminiscent of 60s and 70s urban culture. Velvet-lined booths and banquettes were an important detail to warm the space, and crates of records allow guests to choose their own music. This supports the spirit of community and connection of the time period that inspired this space.
